June market

It’s beautifully sunny and what is needed with sunshine? Ice cream of course. JCocoa our award winning chocolatier will be bringing some delicious chocolate ice cream with him. We’ve heard it comes with great recommendations! And of course there’s all the usual goodies to check out too. Our charity of the month is the New England Wood Trust, do come along and support them. As always teas, coffees and breakfasts available at the Rose & Crown. Parking for the market is at the nearby Baptist church. The market is open from 9am to 12 noon. See you there.

Easter market

It’s time for the Easter market. Aside from all the usual great food, pies, cheese, veg, game, chicken, samosas, jams, just take a look below for some Easter inspired gifts. Fabulous eggs and ginger mini eggs from J.Cocoa, beautiful Easter choccy cakes from Mon Atelier Desserts and if you don’t feel like chocolate why not a beautiful peat free plant in a gorgeous planter from Flower & Earth, some delightfully smelly soaps/ body scrubs from Twang – Love Nature or some local gin from Generation 11 Gin. We’ve got Easter covered!

November market

Ditch the wellies and umbrellas, the sun is coming out and staying for a few days! Perfect timing for the November ‘Cuckfield Local’ food market this Saturday. We’ve got pies, curries, cheese, bread, cakes, chocolate, gin, sorbets and much more to tempt your palate. Come along and support local traders.

Our charity of the month is the Dame Vera Lynn children’s charity, providing support for children and their families. They would love you to visit their stall.

The market is open from 9am-12noon. Breakfasts, teas and coffees available from the Rose and Crown.

Parking for the market is available at the Baptist church.

October market

Warm coats ready, it’s time for the October market. We have a new stall Pinch Seasonings with us this month, also some delicious local honey is going to be on sale. Our charity of the month is the NSPCC, who will be selling lots of lovely spring flowering bulbs. Do come along and support them.

Free parking is available at the nearby Baptist Church car park and you can pick up teas, coffees and/or breakfast at the pub.

September market

It’s almost time for the September market. Don’t forget, we’re at the Haywards Heath Rugby Club at Whitemans Green this Saturday. The market is open from 9-12noon and the rugby club will be selling teas, coffees and bacon baps (yum). Our charity of the month is Jem for Mayor.

Help us to help local charities by supporting the market, which is run by a small group of volunteers, we donate any profit made to local charities. Last year we gave over £1300 to local charities and this year we are on track to give even more. We can only do this if you support your local, monthly market. See you all on Saturday.

August market

Pop your best sun outfit on and take a gentle stroll down to the market this weekend. We’ve got lots of amazing goods on offer. We’re at the Rose & Crown car park from 09.00 – 12 noon. See you there. Parking available at the Baptist church. Breakfasts, teas and coffees can be purchased at the pub.

April market

Wow! What a lot we have going on at the Easter market this Saturday. Not only do we have masses of wonderful local produce, we also have Chailey Heritage as our charity of the month and tickets for the Platinum Jublilee street party will be on sale at the front table. The market opens at 9am, tickets go on sale from 09.30. Shop local, get your street party tickets and support a good cause all in one spot. Cuckfield Local – market, the best place to be this Saturday morning!
